The kids and The Man are out running an errand and I'm trying to catch up on some paperwork. I did want to pop in a quick note before I update the 365 Days of Art.
Yesterday I was doing some drawing in my sketchbook and really longing to have a sketchbook with toned paper. I put a shout out on Twitter and Facebook and got a few replies (I love the instantness of social networking, and how people who ware strangers are willing to pitch in to help!)
I would really love to have sketch book that had a neutral tones paper in it that wasn't white, so I could have mid tone and then add highlights with white and darks with sanguine conte, or charcoal.
Do you know if such a thing exists? I'm really bad at bookbinding, but I might have to resort to making my own!
On another note... I'm thinking about picking up golden's pastel ground and working on a charcoal drawing on canvas... hows that for something new and different! stay tuned and see if I manage to make it work!)
Back to paperwork. You know, there is a reason why I'm not an accountant!
Stumble It!
